Wynn Al Marjan Island Redefines the Destination Wedding Experience
The UAE’s first integrated resort introduces an expansive wedding offering, bringing multi-day celebrations, bespoke experiences and world-class hospitality together in one destination.
Ras Al Khaimah, UAE: Wynn Al Marjan Island, the first integrated resort in the United Arab Emirates, has unveiled details of its bespoke wedding experiences, designed to transform traditional celebrations into immersive, multi-day occasions.
Scheduled to open in 2027, the resort will offer couples the opportunity to host every aspect of their wedding celebrations in a single destination, with distinctive venues, curated culinary experiences and personalised hospitality. From pre-wedding festivities to the wedding ceremony and grand reception, each occasion can be tailored to reflect the couple’s traditions, preferences and personalities.
At the heart of the wedding offering is Coral Court, the resort’s dedicated Events & Celebrations Center. The property will also feature 22 restaurants, bars and lounges, Wynn Theater, Wynn Beach Club, a five-star spa, 12 swimming pools, a 550-metre private white-sand beach and Wynn Marina.
With 1,540 rooms and suites, the resort will allow wedding guests to stay, celebrate, dine and unwind within the property. Its location on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, less than 70 km from Dubai International Airport, further enhances its accessibility for international wedding parties.
Coral Court: A venue for grand celebrations
Coral Court has been designed to accommodate celebrations of varying sizes and styles. Its centrepiece, the column-free Grand Ballroom, spans 2,633 square metres and offers panoramic views of the marina.
The combined indoor event spaces can accommodate up to 1,470 guests for banquet-style receptions. Complementing these are four outdoor event terraces and an expansive Event Lawn, which can host up to 620 guests for a banquet-style celebration. The indoor and outdoor venues allow couples to create different atmospheres throughout their wedding festivities.

Max Tappeiner, President, Wynn Al Marjan Island, said, “A wedding is so much more than the ceremony itself. It is all the moments that surround it, the traditions, the meals, the celebrations, and most importantly, the time spent together. At Wynn Al Marjan Island, we have an entire resort to bring those moments to life, while making the experience feel effortless for the couple, their families, and their guests.”
Dedicated spaces for the bride and groom
Adding to the personalised experience are dedicated Bridal and Groom’s Suites within Coral Court, each measuring approximately 150 square metres. These private spaces are designed to accommodate the preparations leading up to the wedding, offering comfortable settings for the couple, their families and wedding parties.
The Bridal Suite features vanities, large mirrors and specialised studio lighting, providing an ideal environment for hair, makeup and photography. The Groom’s Suite includes a cigar lounge, bar, grooming vanities and a dedicated resort attendant, creating a relaxed setting for the groom and his groomsmen.
According to Max Tappeiner, the resort has given equal importance to the moments preceding the ceremony, ensuring couples have privacy, personalised attention and the opportunity to spend meaningful time with their loved ones.
Tailored experiences for Indian weddings
Recognising the scale, diversity and traditions associated with Indian weddings, Wynn Al Marjan Island has developed experiences that allow celebrations to unfold over several days, with each function enjoying its own distinctive setting.
Pre-wedding festivities can begin with a Haldi ceremony overlooking the Arabian Gulf or aboard Natural 9, the resort’s 43-metre private yacht. Mehndi celebrations can be arranged beside the pool in shaded cabanas or in intimate private settings.
For the Sangeet, couples can choose from a resort restaurant, a beachside celebration at sunset or the grand Coral Court venue.
The wedding day can be equally distinctive, with the Baraat arriving in a decorated white horse procession or a supercar. Traditional Hindu ceremonies can be organised beneath a mandap, with arrangements for ceremonial vessels and the sacred fire. The celebrations can then transition into a grand dinner and reception at the Grand Ballroom or under the open sky at the Event Lawn.
Culinary offerings reflecting diverse traditions
Food remains an integral part of wedding celebrations, and the resort will bring together dedicated culinary, banquet, audiovisual, production and floral teams to create personalised experiences.
A team of 90 chefs and service professionals, with expertise in Indian, Arabic, Chinese and Western cuisines, will cater to celebrations across different cultures and traditions.
For Indian weddings, menus can include authentic Indian cuisine, regional specialities, family favourites and international selections. Vegetarian, Jain and other dietary requirements will also be incorporated into the planning process.

The wedding cake will be another bespoke element. Aizhan Tazhigulova, Executive Pastry Chef and Cake Artist at Wynn Al Marjan Island, will create customised cakes following personal consultations with couples. These exclusive creations can feature up to 15 tiers, with each design developed specifically for the occasion and never replicated for another wedding.
With its expansive venues, luxury accommodation, diverse dining options and personalised wedding services, Wynn Al Marjan Island aims to establish Ras Al Khaimah as an appealing destination for grand Indian and international weddings.
