Salem Travel Mart 2 Successfully Concludes, Showcasing Salem as a Rising Tourism Hub
Salem, August 16, 2025: The Salem Travel Mart 2, a prestigious one-day travel exhibition, was successfully held on August 16, 2025, in Salem, bringing together leading names from the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries under one platform.
Organised under the leadership of Mr. Saravanan, President of the Salem Tour Operators Association (STOA), and Mr. Sharan Kumar, Event Chairman of the Salem Travel Mart, the event served as a dynamic meeting ground for industry stakeholders to network, collaborate, and explore new business opportunities.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. D. Venkatesan, Regional Director (South), Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, whose presence and words of encouragement set the tone for a day of meaningful discussions and collaboration.

With the participation of over 101 international and domestic DMCs, airline partners, and hoteliers, Salem Travel Mart 2 offered a vibrant platform for networking, idea exchange, and product showcases. The event highlighted Salem’s growing potential as a key hub for tourism and trade in Tamil Nadu.
