Kozhikode, Kerala – A new adventure in travel is on the horizon in Northern Kerala, a lively and historic corridor poised to become India’s next flagship destination. The Malabar Tourism Meet (MTM) 2025, the region’s premier platform for tourism innovation, will take place on August 30, 2025, at the brand-new Tiara by MPS, Kozhikode.

Organised by the Malabar Tourism Council, an association of passionate tourism entrepreneurs from Northern Kerala, MTM is a B2B networking platform designed to engage one of India’s most authentic and untouched tourism markets. Since its debut in 2022, MTM has grown into a key industry event, successfully adapting during the 2023 Nipah pandemic with impactful familiarisation tours. In 2025, the event is poised to reach new heights by bringing together over 200 local stakeholders and international buyers to explore opportunities in inbound and domestic tourism.

Discover Malabar’s Diversity
Malabar’s charm lies in its unmatched diversity. From the historic port city of Kozhikode, a UNESCO City of Literature, to the mist-clad hills of Wayanad, the drive-in beach of Kannur, and the vibrant rituals of Theyyam, every part of Malabar tells a story. Kasaragod’s Bekal Fort, Palakkad’s cinematic villages, and Malappuram’s global wellness hubs, such as Kottakkal Ayurveda and Tulah Wellness Centre, offer travellers experiences that blend tradition with modernity.

With five international airports nearby—Mangalore, Kannur, Kozhikode, Coimbatore, and Kochi—Malabar is one of the most accessible tourism regions in India. Rail and road connectivity further open up its landscapes, ensuring seamless travel across beaches, backwaters, spice trails, and lush countryside.

A Call for Sustainable Growth
“This is the moment for the world to discover Malabar,” says Sajeer Padikkal, President of the Malabar Tourism Council. “We strongly believe the next Kerala is North Kerala, and we are committed to showcasing it through sustainable practices that preserve our natural beauty and village life.”

Secretary Rajeesh Raghavan adds, “The response has been overwhelming. With big and small quality agencies confirming their participation, we have had to expand both the exhibitor area and hosted buyer accommodations. This is a clear sign of Malabar’s rising importance on the global tourism map.”

Why Attend MTM 2025?
MTM is not just another travel expo—it is a gateway to authenticity. Participants will gain exclusive access to fresh itineraries, immersive experiences, and untapped business opportunities in a region ready to redefine tourism.

Join in Kozhikode for MTM 2025 and be part of the next great discovery in Indian tourism.
