Karnataka Tourism Society Unveils B2B Roadshow Campaign to Boost Destination Promotion Across South India

Karnataka Tourism Society B2B Road Show 2025

The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) has announced the launch of an ambitious Regional Market Expansion Campaign featuring a series of Destination Promotion B2B Roadshows designed to strengthen Karnataka’s position as a leading tourism destination for the current travel season.

This coordinated initiative is being executed in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka; Ministry of Tourism, Government of India; Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC); Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd. (JLR); and the South India Hotels & Restaurants Association (SIHRA).

As part of the campaign, specially curated B2B Roadshows will take place across key cities in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, spotlighting Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage, hill stations, wildlife and nature escapes, coastal treasures, and adventure tourism offerings.

The roadshow series will begin in Coimbatore on 25 November 2025, followed by Cochin on 26 November, Madurai on 27 November, and Salem on 28 November 2025.

A delegation of 42 tourism stakeholders from Karnataka will participate in these engagements, interacting with travel trade partners and showcasing product offerings. The expected buyer participation includes 150 in Coimbatore, 200 in Cochin, 120 in Madurai, and 100 in Salem.

Each event will feature destination briefings, promotional film showcases, and networking opportunities to highlight Karnataka’s tourism circuits—from heritage trails and hill tourism to wildlife sanctuaries, beaches, and eco-adventures.

Mr. K. Syama Raju, President, Karnataka Tourism Society, stated:
“Karnataka offers a truly year-round tourism experience, home to globally recognised heritage sites, pristine landscapes, and diverse wildlife. Through this roadshow series, we aim to strengthen Karnataka’s visibility among travel trade partners in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and stimulate domestic travel inflow. This initiative marks a key step in building stronger regional collaborations and showcasing the state’s unmatched tourism appeal.”

Mr. D. Venkatesan, Regional Director (South), Indiatourism Chennai, said:
“With its multifaceted tourism offerings, Karnataka is emerging as one of India’s most dynamic destinations for both leisure and business travel. Domestic tourism is the backbone of our economy, and initiatives like these are crucial to unlocking its full potential. This campaign aligns with the Ministry of Tourism’s ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ vision and reinforces stronger inter-state tourism partnerships.”

Karnataka Tourism Society representatives will directly engage with tourism officials, tour operators, and travel business leaders to cultivate new partnerships and enhance trade-driven growth.

In the upcoming phase, the campaign is set to expand to major state capitals and Tier-2 cities across Central India—further strengthening Karnataka’s market presence and national tourism outreach.
