Jammu & Kashmir to Host the 17th ATOAI Annual Adventure Convention
The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) is delighted to announce that its 17th Annual Adventure Convention will take place in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, from December 17–20, 2025. This landmark event marks a defining chapter in India’s adventure tourism landscape — celebrating revival, resilience, and a renewed spirit of exploration in one of the world’s most iconic destinations.
Organized in partnership with the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, the convention will bring together leading adventure professionals, policymakers, industry experts, and stakeholders from across the country under the central theme:
“Indian Adventure Tourism: Safe, Sustainable & Resilient.”
The Annual Adventure Convention will focus on reinventing India’s adventure travel ecosystem — strengthening safety standards, championing sustainability, and building the nation’s global leadership in responsible adventure tourism.
Set against the majestic backdrop of Kashmir’s snowy peaks, lush meadows, and serene valleys, the convention carries a powerful message: Jammu & Kashmir is vibrant, welcoming, and ready to steer India’s adventure growth story. Its natural beauty, now supported by improved infrastructure, enhanced safety frameworks, and thriving community-based tourism, showcases an inspiring synergy between progress, preservation, and unforgettable adventure experiences.
ATOAI Annual Adventure Convention Highlights
The three-day gathering will showcase:
- Insightful keynotes and panel discussions led by influential voices shaping adventure tourism.
- Workshops and masterclasses focused on safety, innovation, sustainability, and skill development.
- Awards of Excellence recognizing innovation and outstanding contributions in the adventure sector.
- A field visit to Pahalgam demonstrates how eco-friendly adventure tourism can uplift local communities while safeguarding the environment.
