Israel Ministry of Tourism Appoints Galit Hoffman as Consul-Tourism Affairs for India
The Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced the appointment of Galit Hoffman as Consul – Tourism Affairs for India, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening tourism ties with one of its fastest-growing markets.
Galit brings extensive experience in diplomacy, strategic communication, international market development, and private sector leadership. She previously served at the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi as Spokesperson and later as Deputy Defence Attaché, contributing significantly to Indo-Israel cooperation. In the private sector, she led sales and product marketing for the Indian market at Mobileye, a global leader in automotive safety and smart mobility solutions.
In her new role, Galit will spearhead Israel’s tourism promotion strategy in India, collaborating closely with travel trade partners, airlines, media, and digital platforms to showcase Israel as a diverse and enriching travel destination.
“India has been a part of my journey for many years,” said Galit. “I feel privileged to return and contribute to strengthening this special bond.
