Indo Asia Heritage Showcases Distinct Madikeri and Coorg Experiences to Travel Trade
Around 25 travel agents from Bengaluru and Mysuru experience Indo Asia Heritage’s business and leisure hospitality offerings during an exclusive FAM trip
Indo Asia Heritage recently hosted an exclusive familiarisation (FAM) trip for around 25 selected travel agents from Bengaluru and Mysuru, offering them first-hand exposure to its two properties — Indo Asia Heritage Madikeri and Indo Asia Heritage Coorg.

Held on 3–4 September 2026, the FAM was designed not merely as a property visit, but as an opportunity for travel partners to understand the distinct positioning of the two properties and the customer segments best suited to each.
While Indo Asia Heritage Madikeri is positioned as a business-oriented hotel, Indo Asia Heritage Coorg offers a resort-led leisure experience, surrounded by the tranquillity and greenery for which the destination is known.
Building first-hand product knowledge at Indo Asia Heritage
A key objective of the FAM was to give participating agents an immersive understanding of both properties, covering accommodation, facilities, dining, experiences and surroundings.
Through property walkthroughs and interactions, agents were able to experience the products themselves rather than relying solely on sales material. This first-hand knowledge is aimed at helping travel partners confidently match the right property with the right customer — whether a business traveller, FIT, honeymooner, family, corporate group or leisure guest.

The initiative also sought to strengthen relationships with the travel trade and translate greater product awareness into future enquiries, recommendations and bookings.
A refreshed leisure experience at Indo Asia Heritage Coorg
The 30-year-old Indo Asia Heritage Coorg has entered a refreshed phase with 36 newly renovated luxury and super-luxury cottages, bringing contemporary comfort to an established property while retaining its peaceful resort character.

Select accommodation features Jacuzzis, while the resort offers a range of amenities including a lavish swimming pool, children’s play area and dedicated kids’ room. A new menu further enhances the overall guest experience.

With its combination of spacious accommodation, leisure facilities and serene surroundings, the resort is suited to a wide spectrum of guests, including FITs, honeymooners, families and corporate groups looking for an offsite or relaxed getaway.
Experiencing the product beyond the rooms
The two-day itinerary was curated to ensure agents experienced more than the physical infrastructure of the properties.
Following their arrival in Madikeri, participants toured the Madikeri property before proceeding to Indo Asia Heritage Coorg. The programme included a valley sundowner, followed the next morning by a guided forest walk and an extensive walkthrough of the Coorg property, including its cottages, spa, pool, conference facilities and grounds.

These experiential elements enabled agents to understand how the resort could be packaged and recommended as an overall Coorg experience rather than simply as accommodation.
Strengthening the travel-trade connection
By bringing selected travel partners to experience both properties personally, Indo Asia Heritage sought to create a stronger connection between the product and those recommending it to travellers.
The FAM highlighted how the two properties can complement each other while serving different travel requirements — Madikeri for the business-oriented traveller and Coorg for guests seeking a relaxed, resort-led escape.

For Indo Asia Heritage Coorg, the combination of its 30-year legacy, renovated cottages, enhanced facilities and tranquil natural setting presents a renewed proposition for the travel trade — a place where guests can slow down, reconnect and experience Coorg at an unhurried pace.
