Launched in December 2022, Digi Yatra began its operations at Delhi, Bengaluru, and Varanasi airports, offering travellers a hassle-free, contactless experience through face authentication. By 2024, the network had expanded to 24 airports across India, making it an integral part of the country’s aviation landscape. It aligns Digi Yatra with global standards, paving the way for international expansion and enhanced passenger convenience.

Enhanced App Features and Privacy-Focused Campaigns

The Digi Yatra app underwent significant updates in 2024 to ensure smoother user registration and better contactless biometric solutions. Notable among these updates was the launch of the d-KYC (Don’t Know Your Customer) campaign, emphasizing Digi Yatra’s commitment to user privacy and data security.
